Description
Spyglass, combining the iconic lighthouse with a Glass Paradoxical whimsy. A white lighthouse atop a rocky coast is the center of the design with the sea below and sky above. The sea is a chaotic array of blues and greens while the sky is a calmer chaos of blues and purples.
"What does a lighthouse look like across the ocean when first spied through the glass of a sea captain...I imagine it as a round image in the blue green sea. The skies are turning purple as dusk is on the horizon. Maybe it marks the final destination of a long voyage or a resting place, a beacon. It could be a peaceful warning to stay clear of dangerous waters, a guiding light on a tempestuous journey" ~ Amy
The bowl of this 12oz wine glass is slender and appropriately shaped for your favorite white wine though can also support the aeration of a light to medium-bodied red if you prefer. The 8" height fits nicely onto the table for a dinner party or to carry about at a social gathering.
As with all Glass Paradox artware, handwashing in warm water with a soft cloth is recommended to ensure lasting colorfulness.
