Description
The Granite(Green) Martini glass stands 8 inches tall and can hold 10 ounces. The unique shape of the martini glass makes it one of the best known cocktail glasses, it alludes to sophistication and fine taste. It is said that the wide open brim of the glass produces surface tension that brings out the bouquet of the gin, the cone shape keeps the ingredients from separating, and creates a nicer display of the olive garnish than a standard cocktail glass.
Amy's Story
Granite is the most masculine of my designs, in my opinion. It’s also the design with the most loyal fans I have ever met. There’s a couple from New York who add to their Granite collection every summer. They’ve sent me pictures of their two corner curio cabinets filled with Granite! Now they request an item and I spend most of the year searching out the pieces to paint - salad bowls, dinner plates, and serving pieces round out their one-of-a-kind collection.
Using the same design concept as Cathedral, Granite is a combination of black, pewter, opaque, white and clear triangular shaped spaces. The clear spaces allow you to see what’s in your glass and the neutral coloring goes with so many different color schemes and decorating ideas.
