Description
Fish, are a whimsical coastal design. Glass Paradox's Fish design in stemware is painted both inside and outside of the glass. By painting on both surfaces of the glass there's more depth to the design, making it look as if the fish were actually swimming through the ocean vegetation (sounds better than seaweed) and it gives the whole bowl of the glass a blue coloring. Fish are a collection of yellow, orange, blue, and purple detailed in contrasting colors. These are a favorite up and down the east coast, and at lakeside camps, with a few making their way to the west coast as well!
"Whilst I began glass painting in Worcester, Massachusetts, many years ago, Glass Paradox spent the first of its growing years along the coast. And like any good coastal artist, I needed to create a nautical themed design. Fish were a logical choice. They're fun and have been used as centerpieces at birthday parties, baby and bridal showers as well as for toasting glasses at a few seaside weddings" ~ Amy
The bowl of this 16oz wine glass is rounded but slender and appropriately shaped for your favorite wine whether you prefer red or white. The longer bowl is appropriately lengthened for a crisp or fruitful white. It can also support the aeration of a light to fuller-bodied red if you prefer. The 9" height sits elegantly on the table for a dinner party or to carry about at a social gathering.
As with all Glass Paradox artware, handwashing in warm water with a soft cloth is recommended to ensure lasting colorfulness.
