"I was both honored and slightly terrified when a friend asked me to paint the toasting flutes for her wedding party. Her husband-to-be, an art teacher, had designed their wedding invitations to include the iconic Maine woods white birch featuring an "engraved" heart with their initial and of curse she wanted these to match. After a lot of thought and studying of birch trees, I put paint to glass and created Glass Paradox's Birch design. It was a success and they requested matching Christmas ornaments to give to their parents to commemorate their special day!" ~ Amy
