The hand-painted Granite Mason Jar is a contemporary go-with-anything spin on the traditional canning jar that has been a fixture in American homes since 1858
This standard 32 ounce jar is painted in a combination of white, opaque, clear, pewter and black spaces and stands 7 inches tall.
Granite is the most masculine of my designs, in my opinion. It’s also the design with the most loyal fans I have ever met. There’s a couple from New York who add to their Granite collection every summer. They’ve sent me pictures of their two corner curio cabinets filled with Granite! Now they request an item and I spend most of the year searching out the pieces to paint - salad bowls, dinner plates, and serving pieces round out their one-of-a-kind collection.
Using the same design concept as Stain Contemporary, Granite is a combination of black, pewter, opaque, white and clear triangular shaped spaces. The clear spaces allow you to see what’s in your glass and the neutral coloring goes with so many different color schemes and decorating ideas.
During the day the battery inside is charging; At night the attached LED is activated automatically and the jar glows from the inside! Paired with a Hand-painted Glass Paradox Mason Jar, these make dazzling eye-catchers and beautiful additions to your deck, patio or porch. Use them somewhere where they will get sunlight and enjoy the colorful glow as a night-light! Fits standard Mason Jar. Charges in direct sunlight. Includes one rechargeable, AAA battery. Water resistant.
The lamp accessory uses a standard lightbulb (120v/40w) and includes a 7 1/2 foot electrical cord fixture and fabric shade. The socket and ring will be either gold or pewter, depending upon availability. Gold fixtures have a brown cord and pewter fixtures have a clear cord. Fully assembled on a Brite Mason Jar, it stands 13” tall and has 9 inch diameter at the bottom of the shade with a 3.25 inch footprint. Indoor use only.
